We're three-quarters of the way through Fashion Month now. With the eyes of the fashion world now on Paris, we review Milan's Spring/Summer 2014 live streaming offering.
Video: Milan Fashion Week SS14 highlights
Milan is probably the most reliable of fashion weeks with around 40 designers showing their collection online every season. This season, 39 designers live streamed, which is slightly fewer than FW13 and SS12 which both had 42 shows live streaming.
Around half the live streams every season come via Camera Moda, Milan's fashion council. Their live stream offering is continually impressive with them filming shows from three different venues. Most other designers from Milan have embraced live streaming with Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, Emilio Pucci, and Versace all being amongst the big-hitters to live stream
Paola Frani decided not to live stream this season, there were two less live stream from Camera Moda, and Jil Sander's live stream experienced technical problems (but is still included in the total live streams this season).
Paris is the largest of the big four fashion weeks. This isn't represented in their online offering, though, with only around 10-15 designers expected to live stream. Expect an article on this over the next week.
